That is so beautiful!. I have met those gazes as well. Sometimes I’ve been able to just quietly talk to the deer as they gaze at me and then they resume grazing.

A beautiful photo. The picture and your poem reminds me of when I first met a moose in the wild ..the feeling of peacefulness was amazing.
