A haiku can be like looking at a cloud. Different eyes see different shapes. That’s what makes a haiku fun, open to interpretation and seen at different levels. Love your interpretation!

I remember when I first started blogging and being at the time quite naive, I commented on a powerfully emotional, dark poem and totally misinterpreted it. Luckily the fellow blogger was kind and thanked me for my point of view. I always welcome other perspectives. My eyes are blind sometimes. lol

Oh yes, for sure. I do that all the time. The way I see it, commenting on people’s blogs is like buying beer for a party…if you’re going to do it, you’re only required to buy the cheapest kind.

Thanks! My interpretation of the “harping voices” was children demanding a hot dog on a stick and marshmallows in the fire. They were hungry. Ha ha!
