Great photos. Simple yet on closer inspection, a little more complex like the crack in the windscreen and the different patterns created in it.

Much appreciated. I’m glad you took a closer look. I think that’s a paradox. Something simple can be complex as well.

Wow, the crack looks like decorative glass–a flower etched, and reflecting subtle colors. Lovely!!

Glad you noticed the flower-like resemblance. Thank-you. One never knows where one will get an interesting shot.

I’m sure that makes photography interesting–similar to not ever knowing if a poet will get something good, or just half-baked from words 🙂

True. When I write a “good” haiku, I’m always surprised by the result. I also get a “good” feeling that it’s right in the moment and I’m happy to share it.

Love the 2nd and 3rd picture and sorry about your windshield – it’s a pain in the arse when they’re cracked.

Thanks, Hanni. Cracked, but a photographic moment. Ha ha!

Hi Olga, I adore you participated this time. I’m glad you said that you don’t know how to cook your photos yet. There is something about your windshield photo that I really like. Wonderful entry.

The crack was unusually photogenic. Thanks.

Fantastic images Olga. I like your uncooked photos. I also don’t cook mine, just an occasional crop to enlarge. I reckon the image you see and want to capture is the one you decide to take and not some 30 minute photoshopped falsey.

Beautiful pictures, simplicity itself. I love the abstract quality they have when they are stripped down and simplified.

Thank-you for your comment. Nice to know that there are others out there who only use the originals from of the camera’s eye. Cheers!

Thank-you, Pat. If the lighting is right, even the simplest thing can be very photogenic.
