TLT: Week #11-Prisoner

Sensation began to infuse her numb body and suddenly Deidra’s eyes popped open in terror.

One thought repeated in her confused mind, “Where am I?”

As she critically scanned her shadowed surroundings, Deidra eyed the rustic piano and instantly realized what had happened to her.

I can’t figure out where she is, but the piano is nice, and if there is music can’t be so bad, mystery indeed!

Thank-you, Elizabeth. I love writing the three line tales because it allows me to create a mystery, without having to write more. It intrigues me sometimes what I come up with. Ha ha! Appreciate you reading it. πŸ™‚

Olga, are these all your own photographs and sketches? They are amazing. I love your repetetive drawing… Makes me want to try, although I have never been good at drawing and painting. I do always draw shapes when I’m talking on the phone, in a class, etc., so perhaps this type of drawing would be up my alley. I guess I don’t need more to do, though. Don’t have time for my art as it is. I love all of your work.

Thanks, Judy. Yes, the photos and sketches are my originals. I find creating a photo for a haiku very stimulating. The only time I use a non-original is in certain challenges like the Three Line Tales where the image is provided. Always give credits to the creator if it’s not mine. Enjoyed your visit. πŸ™‚

I, too, almost always use my own photos. Sometimes my collages. You wouldn’t want me to use what few drawings I’ve done! Unfortunately, I just couldn’t find the right photo for my post today, so I had to use an internet photo for the first illustration. I hate doing that but it is occasionally necessary. The subject, however, was the excellence of both your drawings and photos… Such a pleasure to visit your blog.

  11. It’s amazing what can be conveyed in three lines! Masterful.
