  1. I have different thoughts reading this. I think of a lovely butterfly in a caterpillar’s cocoon. Great perspective.

      The photo was originally a stylistic drawing of an eye. The digital alteration did make the eyelashes look like tentacles. I can see the insect resemblance you speak of. Thanks for mentioning that, Marissa.

  6. I interpreted your poem as being about life and death and revealing truths before giving up the ghost. Beautiful haiku.
