*Just returned from my daughter’s beachside wedding in Kauai, Hawaii. Incredible journey of seeing the amazing beauty of another side of the world.
Plant life intrigued my photographic eyes.
Majestic aerial view of northern coastline. 
The shadow of our footsteps remain in space and time.
The roosters are awaiting my return. 🙂

I loved the sensual visuals in Hawaii also, but the extremely hot, humid weather and the almost 24 hours to arrive there was difficult to handle. All worth it now that I’m back. 🙂

The sun scapes, amazing, there is a lot of natural history going on in Hawaii. Must have been a joy for you, and your daughter’s wedding too, beachside, must have been spectacular! As you say though, there’s no place like home, I bet that proud looking was happy to see back too.

Thanks, Mick. We had 4 days of downtime before the wedding, so spent alot of time drinking in the sounds of the ocean and entranced by the skyscapes. Glad to be back, but the jet lag was hard on the body.

drinking in the sound,
waves tickling naked feet,
you walk along the sandy shore.
sunsets stealing the horizon,
the ocean reflects its glory.
silhouettes dare to fly,
dipping now and then,
the ocean swell does hide.
time slips by, time for you
to make ready for your return.
cases packed you say farewell,
you have a rooster waiting.
24 hours jet lagged but home,
another celebration.
yet more to come,
the pit a patter tiny feet,
jubilation!
