Suzanne’s On The Road Prompt

The prompt was to find spirituality in a menial task which can be referred to as “kitchen haiku.” My menial task was letting go of my mental to-do-list and savoring the moments that may come. ย After a holiday, “reality” strikes and in those quiet moments, one can float in time and harness life-enhancing experiences of the past.

Travelling in time

Memories float in and out

To-do-list fading

Waves lapping in my coffee

Stirring sand whirls my heart strings
