RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Challenge #167: Touch & Miss

Have you ever had one of those days where everything goes wrong?

Today was my day to get hit with Murphy’s Law: “Anything that can go wrong, will—at the worst possible moment.” Not to go into any details, let say that “I have a new philosophy. I’m only going to dread one day at a time.”  (Charles M. Schulz)

For now, I will look to the sky for solace.

One of Those Days

 Touch of fate thunders

Uncertainty shrouds moments

Missing days of peace

Thanks, Marissa. I know tomorrow will be better. 🙂 It’s just that three’s follow me when undesired things happen. It becomes too much to handle at times.

  2. I sympathize. I’ve had days like that. Days that you will laugh at later I hope. Days that make you think if the world got any clumsier, it would break the laws of physics…..

I hope that you’re consoled by the knowledge that your doldrums brought about an excellent poem.
