A Photo a Week Challenge: Made by Hand

I was intrigued by this hand-made quilt of whimsical library shelves. It was appropriately on display in our local library. It shows a dedication and love for the craft.

This old barn is tribute to the strength and perseverance of builders in the past. With the help of friends and family, anything can be achieved.

My daughter persevered for almost a whole day building this quinzee (snow hut) a few years ago.

Here’s a capture of her in the process.

Same daughter made this braided Easter bread. What a culinary beauty! 🙂

  7. At first glance, the light streaming thru gaps between boards in the old barn looks like a gleaming row of pipes on a church organ.  Old barns are sacred places, and the photo captures that.
