Road to Solitude

(Photo taken my daughter in Banff, Alberta a few years ago. )

One steadfast resolve

Searching for quiet spaces

Where mind can feel peace

Moment found in calming lake

Leaving is such sweet sorrow

  • (I indulged in borrowing William Shakespeare’s  words,  parting is “such sweet sorrow.”  It just came to me and who could say it better.)

An incredible image she captured and your poem matches it with the imagery created through the lines.
