These were taken many years ago with my old Canon. Love the starburst it captured.
A bit of added contrast to enhance the scene after the sun had set.

In August of 2017, I drove around Ontario but southern part. Drove from Pittsburgh, PA to Marlboro, NJ, then to Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Niagara and back to Pittsburgh. Beautiful country and Canadians are very friendly people.

Sounds like a wonderful road trip. Ottawa and Niagara are two of my favorite places in Ontario. 🙂

All of them are unique in their own ways. What I liked that I could walk around or get public transport in Montreal / Ottawa / Toronto and not being dependent on my car once I parked my car at the hotel / guest house. What I was not prepared for was the temperature. It was unseasonably hot. The trip was in late September not August.

Unseasonably hot tends to happen that time of year, even here in the northern part of Ontario. Weather patterns are changing.

What a lovely sunset by the beach. As David said, love the starburst in the middle, that fiery explosion of light. What a view, what a show.
