Our autumn colour is coming along but the weather and light has been terrible recently.

I went out yesterday, in very moody weather, to get some photos of the changing colors. The radiance of the colors was lacking until the sun peeked out for a bit. Right place, right time. 🙂

I like the idea that Autumn seeks to warm the soul, despite its cold. It certainly is beautiful.

I love how your cinquain resembles a leaf. Also, the energy and positivity you’ve found to focus on is inspiring!

Thank-you, Lori. Autumnal colors can be very energizing to one’s state of mind. Never thought of the poem being shaped like a leaf. It’s supposed to be a butterfly, but leaf is perfect for the image. Thanks for sharing that insight. 🙂

I guess I saw the reblogged version which was centered rather than flush left. Either way works beautifully!

It was supposed to be centered, but WP puts it to the left, except on my own site. It still looks like a leaf when centered, like you mentioned. 🙂

That’s one of the things I miss living in Florida––the changing of the leaves. I remember how beautiful it was when I lived up north. 🙂
