The beauty of garlic with floral accents. This was a new sight for me. They even had wreaths made out of garlic.
I went to see these beautiful dancers. Here they are posed and waiting for the music to start.
This gentleman in deep in concentration getting focused to accompany the choir behind him.
These children are getting ready to do their part in the celebration of the Ukrainian culture in Sudbury, Ontario.
This fellow surprised me, popping out of the pavement.
Love the colours of the costumes.

Thanks, Michael. It was my first time experiencing this yearly celebration. Too bad it was cancelled due to the lack of volunteers.

Oh, I love this! First off, I was a Russian major who went on to work as an interpreter. I had many, many Ukrainian clients and friends. Second, here in central Massachusetts, we have a wonderful garlic festival where all of us aging hippies gather in our Birkenstocks and enjoy each other’s company! Finally, I’m Italian. Garlic is like our lifeblood!!! Thanks for the photos!

I know. I was amazed when I saw them, but got distracted from taking a photo. 😦
