After days of grey
In spirit of change
Textured morning sky
Welcomes sun’s presence
Dissolving cloud cover
Into a recipe
For brighter days
A little of this. A little of that.

Very cool… and warming up. The texture reminds me of wool in it’s natural state.

Thank-you, Arati. This morning’s sky surprised me. A welcomed sight. Yes, that woolly texture can create a wonderful vision. Freezing ice pellets forecasted for tonight and tomorrow.

A “mackerel sky”, cirrocumulus clouds. Lovely, Olga.

Thanks, Michael. Happy that you gave me the name for that wonderful cloud front. I’ll forever think of it as a mackerel sky. I’ll go fishing to capture it again. lol

Oh, that’s a gorgeous photo! It’s somehow abstractly fluffy, and not so much ‘dark’ as ‘not bright’. It’s a fascinating textured skyline.

Thank-you so much. Much appreciated. It was a fascinating cloud front that lasted only a few minutes. Happy holidays. 🙂
