“There is a immeasurable distance between late and too late.”
(Og Mandino)
Visiting both the above distances came late in life, but I’m happy not too late. Both happened in my 60’s, one year apart; the Rockies first and then Hawaii. I hadn’t experienced the Rockies since my late teens and had always dreamed of being in Hawaii one day.
It’s interesting how, when life slows down with age, surprising things can still happen.
Cee’s Challenge: In the Distance (B&W)
I like how the coastline appears in black and white. In some way, with the tiny white lines of the waves it seems more sharply defined.

Thank-you for your thoughts, Arati. I’m happy that this photo worked in monochrome. There was a glare from the window of the helicopter that I attempted to smooth out, which kind of worked. 🙂

Thank-you, Cee. Mountains have always had a mysterious attraction for me. Sometimes I wish that I could live close to a mountain range, in a tiny cottage, within walking distance of a glacial lake. 🙂

Two terrific images, but I think I like the second one best. Good job. 👍
