Frank has posed an interesting idea of looking at a photograph with imperfections and seeing it with a different perspective.
The above photo was relegated to my mistake file and I dismissed it until now.
A bit of digital play and I have a psychedelic image that is curiously inviting.
Intense, winter cold
Hampering creative journey
Photography on hold
Feeding on old images
Desires turned upside-down
Vision colored by grey skies
Boredom sets in
Awaiting spring
Like what you did with this image! Nicely done!

Thanks, Frank. Fun with editing keeps me going in this time of winter stagnation.

Wow! This makes me want to revisit my “undesirables”. Hold on, winter will pass….eventually.

I’m trying. They say February can be the worst month for SAD. It’s hitting me harder this year because of the longer periods of extreme cold.

Yes, February is bad. Let’s pray the weather breaks and the sun comes out long enough to recharge you. Virtual hug.

Look into the grey sky frequently – those rays will come into your eyes even if it doesn’t seem so.

Wow! I love the vibrancy that comes with the lines of colored light. Wishing you comfort and light during this season. I’m glad editing helps you manage this time; I certainly enjoy and am inspired by the results.

Thank-you Arati. I never realized until this winter how the act of taking a photograph has become more than a hobby, but a passion. Appreciate the well wishes. Yes, editing is a saving grace. Thanks for the cheering up. 🙂

If anybody ever writes a story about a pond haunted by the ghost of a duck, I know where they can get a great illustration.
