Ancient Deposit

Glacier deposit

Of ancient rocks

By hands of time

Once free rolling

With life’s pressures

Grounded now

Holding story

Of yesteryear

Thank-you kindly, Kerfe. It’s like when you see rocks underwater and they are so wet and colorful, but when they dry they lose their shimmer and grey-out. My editing helped to bring out the color that the eye couldn’t see. 🙂

I love the colors in the rocks and the words that give me a felt sense of the lifetimes that have passed over them.
