A Textured Proposition

Language

Is the freedom

To bend ideas

Just like art

Poetry is full of bendable emotion

A textured proposition

Guided by the imagination

Opening new windows

To possibilities

Requiring dedicated work

To discover one‘s personal truth

(Inspired by the words of D. H. Lawrence)

“bendable emotion/ A textured proposition” – wonderful. There are moments, when writing poetry, that the unexpected coming together of certain words elicits a thrill. You must have felt it with this one.

  6. I like this, Olga! Poetry is a different expression using the same words. I just re-read about the life of Robert Frost. Louis Untermeyer describes him as an ordinary man intensified, a person whose life is lifted to a high pitch of feeling and has a gift of making others share his excitement. In that sense, he sees different shapes of what others see as a straight line.
