Heart of the Matter

K’lee has planted the seed that requires deep thought. “If you could see into the heart of me…”

“Spirituality is a brave search for the truth about existence, fearlessly peering into the mysterious nature of life.”

(Elizabeth Lesser)

I am

The eyes once filled with wonder

Catching polliwogs

The eyes of the spirited one

Who lost her voice

The eyes of innocence

Baffled by broken trust

The eyes of anger

Yearning for respite

The eyes looking for something

Finding it amidst nature

The eyes craving connection

In the stillness of the mind

In the cloudless sky

Where creativity dances

And mystery awakens the true journey

I am not my story

I am more than that
