Frame within a Frame

When you really think about it, it’s all in how you frame your life.

Casual capture of my daughter busy in her kitchen, reflected in the frame of a mirror. Miss you!

Wall display in a fancy restaurant after the boat tour in Ottawa. (Reminds me of the song, “Ninety-nine bottle of beer on the wall.” ) πŸ™‚

A beautiful selection, Olga. The first image is amazing, I see double frames (two different bridges) in the photo. The reflection of your daughter on the mirror is lovely. Ninety-nine bottle of beer on the wall.”, so cool. Thank you for sharing. πŸ™‚

Thank-you, Amy. Yes, the double bridges draw the eye in. I was surprised to have captured a person on top of the first bridge watching the boat dock. Things one notices after the fact. πŸ™‚

These photos are gorgeous! The reflections and their images especially. I hadn’t thought of the 99 bottles song since summer camp when I was a kid. πŸ™‚

Hi Olga – you’ve chosen beautiful forever moment photo examples. I adore the composition of your leading lines in all of them. Well done! PS – I know that missing my daughter feelings, and I have a photo of one of mine in a mirror reflection too, a forever moment for sure :-)!

  14. Lovely selection of the forever moments, Olga. The first one capture the perfect moment of the bridge, sunset, and reflection. I like the contrast of the light and shadow. What a lovely moment you preserved of your daughter in the refection of mirror. Good that you see her at least once a year. I’m fortunate that my daughter lives 1,000 miles away with two-hour flight. I go to see my granddaughter every six weeks. Next month is her two-year birthday. πŸ™‚

Beautiful all of them – the first one with the bridge is a gem – and I recognize not knowing all things in the photo until I see it on the computer! Love the shot of your daughter in her kitchen as well – my daughter left for her uni and will not be home until Christmas. So much feeling in a “missing” frame.
