When you really think about it, it’s all in how you frame your life.

Framing special moments
With a forever image
Bridge framing the sunset moment before the boat docking.

Rustic framing of vegetation draws the eye into the inner depths.

Sculptured family framed by nature.
Casual capture of my daughter busy in her kitchen, reflected in the frame of a mirror. Miss you!
Wall display in a fancy restaurant after the boat tour in Ottawa. (Reminds me of the song, “Ninety-nine bottle of beer on the wall.” ) π

A beautiful selection, Olga. The first image is amazing, I see double frames (two different bridges) in the photo. The reflection of your daughter on the mirror is lovely. Ninety-nine bottle of beer on the wall.β, so cool. Thank you for sharing. π

Thank-you, Amy. Yes, the double bridges draw the eye in. I was surprised to have captured a person on top of the first bridge watching the boat dock. Things one notices after the fact. π

These photos are gorgeous! The reflections and their images especially. I hadn’t thought of the 99 bottles song since summer camp when I was a kid. π

Thank-you so much. Yes, I’m especially fond of the sunset image also. That’s such a catchy song, but can drive one crazy. π

It can drive you crazy unless you’re an 11 year old on a bus on the way to camp with 40 other 11 year olds π

Hi Olga – you’ve chosen beautiful forever moment photo examples. I adore the composition of your leading lines in all of them. Well done! PS – I know that missing my daughter feelings, and I have a photo of one of mine in a mirror reflection too, a forever moment for sure :-)!

Thank-you for reflecting on the forever moment in the mirror. It’s interesting how a photo can resonate with others. I’m lucky if I see my daughter once a year, but we do keep in tough through FB. π

Lovely selection of the forever moments, Olga. The first one capture the perfect moment of the bridge, sunset, and reflection. I like the contrast of the light and shadow. What a lovely moment you preserved of your daughter in the refection of mirror. Good that you see her at least once a year. I’m fortunate that my daughter lives 1,000 miles away with two-hour flight. I go to see my granddaughter every six weeks. Next month is her two-year birthday. π

Thank-you, Miriam. Wonderful that you can travel to see family on a regular basis. Important to see grandchildren, since they grow so fast.<3

They do. I saw her last month. In last than a month, she could climb the metal ladder and the chain net in the park!! My daughter has a “Tinybeans” account where she posts photos every day for me to keep up with what Autumn is doing.

Beautiful all of them – the first one with the bridge is a gem – and I recognize not knowing all things in the photo until I see it on the computer! Love the shot of your daughter in her kitchen as well – my daughter left for her uni and will not be home until Christmas. So much feeling in a “missing” frame.

Thank-you for expressing your emotional resonance with my ‘missing you’ frame. Being in an ’empty nest’ situation can be difficult at times. Happy that you thought the bridge was a gem. I feel the same way. π
