*( My daughter missed her grade 7 school year many moons ago due to an unknown illness that cleared after taking milk thistle supplements.)
And they are pretty too. Good news it worked!

I took that photo on a recent walk and it reminded me of the gift it had given years ago. 🙂

Yes, it was a miracle. Sometimes doctors don’t know everything. 🙂

Yes, herbal medicine is definetely an alternative when other avenues can’t help.

I turned to alternatives when traditional medicine couldn’t help me – made a big difference. Now I balance both.

There are many aspects of health that doctors don’t know about (something that I find disappointing)…I like this happy solution found in the thistle.

Thank-you for your thoughts, Janice. Yes, it is disappointing that more doctors don’t practise holistic medicine.

An amazing poetic connection to an incident from your past, clearly not forgotten. Personally I swear by my naturopath. Natural remedies are in our DNA and the modern drugs are not.

Thanks for your thoughts on natural remedies, Denis. Sometimes we forget that most medication is nature-based originally and then transformed into something more toxic and unnatural by pharma companies.

Thank-you, Denis. I just took one shot while I was walking and hoped for the best. Happy that it turned out better than expected. A bit of editing, but not much. 🙂
