Autumn Layers

Chasing the light

Delineating shadows and lines

Layers of the fallen

Transformation ending

Landscape becomes moody

Barrenness a promise

The last hang on

Braving the winds of change

I think your photos really capture the delicate nature of autumn leaves, yet your words capture their tenacity! Beautiful.

A beautiful poem and images. I love that you were inspired by this week’s theme! There’s a sense of fragility in your images. Perfect showcasing the seasonal change.

Beautiful, Olga! Trying to decide if it is Autumn’s moodiness or my own that I’m experiencing.

Very well crafted images Olga. The 3 poems stand alone as haiku yet flow beautifully to create an ongoing image filled story. Just for a totally different take I see a WW1 battlefield in Flanders

I reread my words with that in mind and I see what you mean. Layers of the fallen…the last hang on, braving the winds of change. Thank-you for your interesting perspective, Denis. 🙂
