Overload

Colors quickly fading

Life turning into black and white

Spontaneous responses denied

Rules of engagement fall apart

Unable to hide in distractions

Holding onto rare moments of peace

Yearning for the normalcy of habits

That last line tugs on my heart – those moments when we long for normalcy. Praying you will find relief soon, Olga.

Thank-you, Xenia. ❤ There is a bit of relief, but waiting for an osteopath appointment end of next week for more possible healing. I have high hopes. 🙂

Your poem reaches out from the pain. So well done. The habits that we once thought…boring perhaps?…can bring comfort. I really hope your life returns to its normal self soon.

A wonderful poem to the passing of a rose and the return of full mobility for you. I see both in those lines Olga. Hope your lower back issue gets sorted. My deep tissue masseur worked wonders on mine a week ago with follow up exercises that are so essential.

Thank-you Denis for your insightful comment. Happy to hear that the masseur worked wonders. I’ve got an appointment tomorrow and hope I’ll have the same success. 🙂
