Solace in Spring

After a long winter

Spring breeze filling the air

Yearning for open waters

Under sunny skies

Empty boardwalk

Contribution to social distancing

Benches empty

Waiting it out

Here I sit calmly

With my daughter companion

Wondering when it will all end

What a lovely series of images and thoughts to go with them. I also wonder when we will see the end of this distancing way of life. Soon, I hope!

We are all wondering that. But the empty spaces have their own beauty. (K)

When you can enjoy views like those, and keep the distance, then waiting it out is eased a bit.
