Rainbow of Hope

I am part of the world, but need to distance myself. It’s painful to watch the storms that surround us. Tears sometimes flow, triggered by a sense of awe of what humanity has come to.

Resetting the mind

In troubling times

A daunting task

Dark, stormy clouds

Keep rolling in

Blurring focus

Simple rainbow appears

Illuminating the moody darkness

Brightening the moment

Privileged to experience

The joy that still

Colors the sky
