Magic of Flowers

“Stretching his hand up to reach the stars, too often man forgets the flowers at his feet.” (Jeremy Bentham)

“Where flowers bloom, so does hope. (Lady Bird Johnson)

Majestic beauty

Of the exotic

Left spellbound

Pausing in the moment

Mesmerized by wonder

  4. “Stretching his hand up to reach the stars, too often man forgets the flowers at his feet.” this quote has reminded me of what David Gresham used to say at the end of a television programme about pop music at the end of the show in the 80s. “Reach for the stars, but keep your feet on the ground”. Beautiful flowers

Thank-you for reflecting on the quote, Abrie. Nature has a tendency to provide a grounding experience for the senses. Not to live in one’s own head so much, but to appreciate what is before us. Happy that you liked my flowers. 🙂

  8. These are lovely phtographs of stunning flowers. It’s difficult to choose one but
since my hobby is growing orchids I’ll choose that one. All are masterpieces by Mother Nature
and captured by your photogenic eye.
