Power of Thoughts

“Thoughts are mental energy; they’re the currency that you have to attract what you desire. Learn to stop spending that currency on thoughts you don’t want.”

“What we think determines what happens to us, so if we want to change our lives, we need to stretch our minds.”

“Everything in the universe has a purpose. Indeed, the invisible intelligence that flows through everything in a purposeful fashion is also flowing through you.”

(Wayne Dyer quotes)

Striving to keep hope alive

In the midst of forces

Beyond individual control

To be of substance

And uncynical

In a world turned topsy-turvy

(The above is using the key words in V.J.’s quotation example to create my own poem. “Strive to be uncynical, to be a hope-giving force, to be a steward of substance.” )

Wayne Dyer says it well, as do you. Love the magic of that first image.

Bless you, Olga, for these words soothed my soul and made me promise myself to get a hold of the heaviness that is wrapped around me today. Anyone who claims what is happening today does not affect them is lying. I have to constantly work at finding my happy place. And that is exactly what I plan on doing today. Manually changing my thoughts is where I begin!! xo

Happy that you found comfort in my post, Amy. Yes, it can be a challenge to find one’s happy place these days. Peace of mind can only be found when one changes one’s thoughts and resists negative triggers. I find that I have to constantly work at it. Just doing this post put me in a different frame-of-mind. May peace find you. xo
