Bane of photographer
Mobility issues
Influencing options
*
Except photography itch
Hard to deny
Throws out its call

Changing seasons
Whispers to the soul
Hard to resist

Long drive
Riding out the pain
Yearning for quiet hideaway

Reach final destination
Except others intrude on the space
Undeterred
Camera in hand
Except battery dies

Adventure suddenly ends
Except I did get a few
Hopefully redemption next year

I was with you every line, knowing well the call vs the reality, and then the dead battery…argh. Beautiful photos. Well worth the effort.

Absolutely. I find when I’m looking through the lens, I am transported for the moment.

Thank-you, Ann-Christine. Not a quiet hideaway that day, except worth the few moments to breathe in nature. 🙂

That darn battery. I hate when that happens, but I also understand the itch to get out and photograph. Those images are really beautiful.

Thanks, Andrea. It’s a rarity these days that I get to satisfy the photography itch.

You’re welcome. Chronic pain gets in the way of so much. Such a shame – I hope you start feeling better soon!

I have hope. Being referred to a Chronic Pain Clinic soon.

Thank-you, Kerfe. Life can be challenging enough without physical issues. It’s definitely put a hamper on my photography.

Such joys do help us move. Beautiful autumn scenes. I love the red red maple leaves.

Thank-you, Janice. ❤ Yes, autumn colors do encourage one to get out into nature. Those were the last of the reds. Went out a bit late this season.

It was especially pleasurable to see those reds because that kind of a colour is rare near my current home (and I’m not straying far lately) while in Ottawa and Toronto, homes of my past, there is usually a feast of such colour.

Oh my goodness Olga – how clever of you to make a verse out of your outing despite battery issues! Gorgeous images this week.

Thank-you so much, Tina. I’ve been watching the season change from my balcony, but needed to get out there in person for my own battery recharge. 🙂
