“There is scientific evidence that trees communicate and are sentient beings. Human beings exchange information mainly through sound and vision. … Well, it has been discovered that plants also communicate with each other, have intelligence, and pass information intergenerationally, just like we humans do.”

Offspring seed the earth
Flying with wind spirit
To unknown destinations
Yet some stay close
To Mother tree
Who nurtures her kin
Sensing their needs
Through mycelium threads
And fungal highways
On symbiotic pathways
Connecting all forest life
In a belowground network
Where grand schemes unfold
To the benefit of mankind

Beautiful poem❣️
It’s so easy to not see the interconnectedness of all life and how beautiful it really is.
Thanks for the gentle reminder❤️🤗

Thank-you, Teri. Yes, we sometimes forget that there is more to life than living in our own little bubbles. Meditative mindfulness can help open the door to was really is out there waiting to be discovered. 🙂

I enjoyed your poem. I’ve been thinking about mother trees lately too. Nature truly is incredible.

Thank-you, Suzanne. It’s been a long time. I only started blogging again recently. Took a hiatus to deal with sciatic pain issues. Actually pain forced me into retirement from creative endeavors. Hope all is well with you. 🙂

I am sorry to hear about your sciatic pain. My mother used to have it and one of my daughters suffers from it too. I understand it can be really awful. I hope you finding relief now. I’m doing ok. We’re in our fourth lockdown here so things are very quiet.

Sorry to hear that sciatica has affected your family also. I’m finally on the path to alleviating some of the symptoms after almost two years of waiting.

If only we would listen to trees, we would be much wiser. Lovely. (K)
