Up early before sunrise, witnessing the sliver of a moon rising as the sky lightened. I was inspired to bring my camera out on the balcony. Waited until it got close to this cloud formation.

Intrigued to see what it would look like in monochrome. Turned out to be quite dramatic.

These are fabulous. I’m not sure which I like better colour or monochrome. Each have wonderful qualities. The moon and cloud monochrome is a little spooky!

Thank-you, Heather. ❤ Not all photos can handle a monochrome conversion, so when one works out, I am pleased. Yes, I agree. The moon and cloud monochrome does have a spooky quality to it. 🙂

Good captures! That cloud formation looks ethereal – like spirit dancing.

Thank-you. V.J. Spirit dancing is a great description. I’m waiting for storm clouds to form and maybe have a photographic moment. 🙂 I’m kind of stuck these days to taking photos off the balcony. Just found out that I need a hip replacement. That was a shock! As my mother use to say. “Life not so easy sometimes.”

So sorry to hear that, Olga. I know you’re creativity, even just off the balcony, will help you through.
