Time’s stitchery
Unravels
Leaving me blind-sided
Interfacing between wobbly odds

Scrambling to find a new mantra
A new way to be
To see deeper
To breathe between two worlds

*Personal Note: Hip replacement surgery scheduled Sept. 8. Scares the hell out of me. Trying to distract myself from destiny.
Have you got good supports in place for afterwards, Olga? I hope this puts an end to pain for you. Nice to see you here with your inspiring words and images.

Thanks for asking. Yes, my oldest daughter, who is a nurse in Edmonton, is driving here to be by my side for a few weeks. My youngest, who lives with me, is starting to get caregiver fatigue, so I’m glad she’ll get some relief. I am blessed. 🙂

I have known a few people who have had hip replacement surgery. The need for this procedure tells me about pain. After the recovery I have seen new life! Best wishes.

All the hip surgeries I know of were extremely successful at relieving the pain. But, as was noted, you will need plenty of help during recovery. Good luck! (K)
