I love those surprising moments in everyday life that twinkle and call us to wonder ‘what if…’
I live in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Our winters can be very harsh and seem to last forever. Nature offers many opportunities for photographic splendor.
Since starting this blog in April 2015, I’ve surprised myself. I never thought that I’d revisit my love for poetic expression.
My photography is still evolving and is a necessary companion to my emerging words.
Thank you for the follow, Olga. I’m very touched.

Actually, I’m Ukrainian. I’m first generation Canadian and my parents’ were educated under the Russian rule so they spoke both languages which are very similar. Thank-you for the comment, Marta. 🙂

Nice to meet you. I am very happy with my Canon Power Shot too. Although I am still figuring out all the technical possibilities, it does not stop to amaze me with great pictures. Enjoy your photography!

Thank-you for visiting my blog, Marga. Always nice to meet a fellow photographer. I’ve discovered that it doesn’t take a fancy camera to get wonderful shots; just a creative eye and good lighting. Hope you have a wonderful journey with your passion in photography. 🙂

You’re right about the eye. I have learnt to look differently at things, also the objects near me that I had taken for granted. Every now and then I go hunting for pictures at a special place and it is great fun.

Hi Patrick. Akismet contacted me recently to fill out a test form and seem to have resolved the problem so far. I will comment on your latest post and see what happens. Thanks for your caring concern. ❤

It’s a wonderful, little camera that has surprised me at times with some clear zoom shots when the light is right. 🙂

Thanks a lot for following my blog. Do you also experience now these temperatures of -50 degrees C? It’s terribly cold but with all the snow around your photos shall be marvellous 🙂

It’s been extremely cold here recently. Tonight -41 degrees C. I usually don’t go on photographic journeys until the weather becomes more moderate. Too hard to enjoy the experience when it’s frigid. 🙂

I know what you mean. My hands are cold when it’s +5, so what to say about -40! But if you have the sun at the same time, the nature might be magnificent to shoot.

I really like the first picture of the sky. I don’t know how you got that effect, it looks like you took the picture through a drop of water on a window pane. I love when people see things that most others don’t notice. Thank you for seeing.

Thank-you, Tim. That image was an unexpected trick discovered while playing with GIMP. Clouds swirled into a circular form. Seeing possibilities is what I’m all about. Have a wonderful day! 🙂
