Mental shift reflects

Harmony with ‘womb of time’

Life path manifests

  • I incorporated William Shakespeare’s phrase “womb of time” in this haiku. It seemed to fit my intention. “There are many events in the womb of time which will be delivered.”― William Shakespeare, Othello

*Here’s another quote that vibrates a similar idea. “Our destiny changes with our thought; we shall become what we wish to become, do what we wish to do, when our habitual thought corresponds with our desire.” – Orison Swett Marden

  • This photo was originally an image of boiled eggs. I used Dreamscope to attempt to re-create the “womb of time.”

    Very good and very deep haiku, Olga. I love the use of Shakespeare’s phrase ‘womb of time’––brilliant! The image is also interesting. I can’t believe it was once an image of boiled eggs. Well done. 😀 xx

    I love this haiku. Are you tired of me saying that every time? But it’s true! And I love the Orison Swett Marden quote and I was really wondering what the photo was. Very interesting. Thanks for saying what it is. 🙂 It almost looks like you were boiling them outside. Like trees reflected in the bubbles.

      I absolutely never get tired of you saying that, Mary. It always feels wonderful when I see those words. Yes, that image does have many branches radiating throughout and reminded me of the many paths that can be taken in life after birth. I thought it was an intriguing image and I’m glad that the egg shapes survived the re-creation. Peace also! 🙂

      Thank-you for the kind words, Denis. The artistry in not mine with the image. The app I used altered my eggs to fit the haiku. I just saw the possibilities with my creative eye. I think my eggs would be happy with their new look. Ha ha! Reflecting on the taste of those eggs, since they were created in the ‘womb of time,’ they might be too petrified to eat. 🙂
