Love the internal rhyme you’ve got going on here. And deeply intoxicated by the gorgeous wordbump of this line:
“Soft vespers twist mists of time”

I always like images that sound completely plucked from the air, that nobody else has created.

Enjoyed your poem Olga :)) and your slick photo would have ‘fooled’ me…it’s interesting to get a hint of what’s behind your photo artistry.

Thanks, Janice. I always feel like I need to include an image with my words, even if it needs to be created out of the blue. 😉

It was a fun challenge to think non-alcoholic, especially with the word ‘elixir’. Thanks for mentioning the blue glass of milk. 🙂

It made me want to go and fill wine glasses and photograph them in different lights. One day I will. 🙂

I’ve been following you, but I’ve missed the email notifications! When I moved back from self-hosting, I “lost” people. Nice to make your “re-acquaintance!”

I’ve tried that once. It really works well with red wine, natural sunlight and some shadows in the right place. 🙂
