Quadrille #31: Still

Lifetime of Waiting

Stillborn dreams

Without magic of birth

Hibernating in time

Dispirited with standstill

Bound by life’s shackles

Yearning for more

Crack in the matrix

Freedom unleashed

Creative curiosity

Fueling stilled passion

Fermenting bubbles

Explode with delight

Intoxicating wondrous images

 Power beyond words

Lifting the soul

I liked the close ups of the flowers. I also liked the line “Dispirited with standstill” which is apparently changed as the poem progresses to explosions of delight.

A crack in the matrix is all that is needed, sometimes, to shine a light on new discoveries! Wonderful thoughts in your poem.

By the way Sanaa, I need a bit of guidance. I’m not able to comment on non-WordPress sites and I’ve tried multiple times and nothing works. The comment flies into a virtual world dungeon. I’ve loved your poetry and WP is not allowing me to send the message. I type in my user name and my URL, but no go. ????
